Beginners:
Dr. Paul Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis is a great source of information for beginners. I highly recommend this DVD for people starting a tai chi practice.



Dr. Paul Lam's Teaching Tai Chi Effectively is a great book for learning about tai chi as well as for learning about how to teach it. It focuses on teaching the Yang 24 tai chi forms, but it is very valuable for anyone that wants to learn about how to teach tai chi.


Intermediate:
Dr. Roger Jahnke's The Healer Within is a great source of information on beginning a personal Qigong practice.
